Jennifer’s interest in flower design goes back to her childhood when she would spend endless hours gardening with her parents and creating flower arrangements with cuttings from the garden or with those she'd collect while hiking. As a teenager Jennifer persuaded her love of art by taking sculpting and painting classes and later earned a design degree in Landscape Architecture, with a minor in Horticulture, from the University of Maryland at College Park. Her design degree strengthened her artistic skills, her understanding of space, color, balance and texture; the minor in Horticulture gave her a rich understanding of the floriculture industry. Nowadays Jennifer can be found in the flower studio, tending to her gardens, caring for her small flock of chickens, traveling , entertaining family & friends, or spending time with her husband Steve and their two young boys.
